Yogita Baviskar has graduated from Mumbai University. Her journey in this field started in the year 2002 as a mother of a child with congenital bilateral profound sensorineural hearing loss ,to make child verbal it took around three years and lots of emotional, clinical and social efforts, which inspired her to take a decision of making a career in the same field so that other parents and children can be benefited through her knowledge and experience over the time. Thereafter she did her post graduation degree in special education in hearing impaired from Ali Yavar Jung a National Institute based in Mumbai. She started her own early intervention Center i.e. Adhyayan Hear and Speech Care Home in 2010 with audiology and Auditory verbal therapy and she has successfully guided and coached more than 250 parents of children with cochlear implant. She continued her journey by organising a first of its kind of course for mothers of the children with hearing loss and who cannot afford attend regular therapy due to financial constraints.

She has played a major role in training 700 pre school  Asha workers in spreading awareness of hearing loss that work with pregnant moms and new borns from rural areas of Maharashtra state. Apart from this she is a guide for postgraduate student pursuing a degree in HI field and she regularly manages to visit a special school for children to encourage them  and make them aware about the early intervention program. Internationally, she has presented in conference held  at London in 2017 by The ear foundation and   in AG Bell symposium 2021.
